What to Expect at My Tixel Treatment
To begin your Tixel treatment, your skin is thoroughly cleansed, and an aesthetic numbing cream is applied for 30 minutes. Once the numbing cream is removed, your aesthetician will use the handheld Tixel device containing the titanium heated pyramids to direct heat and create tiny channels to your treatment areas. How Much Downtime Can I Expect After a Tixel Treatment?

For the Full and Medium level treatments, your skin can remain pink to red for 2-3 days and a light brown micro crust will form for 7-10 days. For the lower intensity Open Channel treatment, you will be able to return to normal activity the following day. Please note that patients who are prone to cold sores, receiving Tixel treatment in the mouth area can trigger an outbreak. We recommend you treat the cold sores as you normally would and begin your oral medication several days before your scheduled appointment.

How Many Tixel Treatments Will I Need?
