The Program
Consultation
Our acne clearing process begins with an in-depth consultation to determine what could be causing your acne, such as foods, products, makeups, certain ingredients, medications, and lifestyle factors. We’ll complete a skin assessment and skin sensitivity test and use those results to give you an in-depth home skin care regimen that will be customized to your specific needs.
2. Treatments
Once your consultation is complete, we’ll begin acne treatments. We typically request that you come in every two weeks for a treatment to achieve optimal results. Each treatment will focus on exfoliating your skin to quicken the cell turnover and healing process. On top of the treatments, we’ll also monitor your progress, make changes to your home care plan to encourage constant skin improvement, and track your diet and lifestyle choices to determine what effects your acne the most.
If your routine and treatment plan just aren’t having the acne clearing effect you want, we also offer advanced acne treatments. This combines the typical acne treatment with 30 minutes of LED light therapy, which targets and kills the bacteria that primarily cause acne. It also helps soothe the skin after treatments and reduce inflammation.
3. Follow-up
After we are able to get your breakouts controlled, you still may be left with discoloration and scarring. Depending on what types of scars are left behind it can take 2-6 months of regular treatments clear up the discoloration. These acne scar treatments could include microneedling and chemical peels.

Acne Treatment Consultation

Your initial consultation includes an analysis and will teach you which lifestyle factors, foods, medications & product ingredients that may be contributing to your acne. This consultation is then followed by a skin assessment & skin sensitivity test. Based on those results, we develop a custom home care regimen customized to your skin and acne type. You will go home with all the instructions and tools you need to achieve clear skin. Depending on acne type and severity you can expect to invest an additional $150-$175 for your first full home care regimen (individual products last approximately 8-12 weeks depending on product use timetable.)
It is recommended that you bring all existing skincare and any face cosmetics (primer, concealer, foundation, powder, and/or blush) with you to your appointment for ingredient review.
Acne Treatments

Our targeted bi-weekly treatments combine in-office treatments & lifestyle guidance to address and clear acne and resolve pigmentation issues. On average, this means 6–8 treatments over 3–4 months, though the time it takes to get clear depends largely on how compliant you are with the program, what your acne type is and how regularly you come in for treatments. Each treatment is designed to exfoliate your skin to accelerate cell turnover for faster clearing, monitor & adjust home care, so your skin continues to improve and keep track of diet & lifestyle choices.
Treatment includes LED light therapy, which helps to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce inflammation in the skin. The combination of blued, red and infrared lights in our Celluma panels gets down to the core of the acne-causing bacteria. The red lights help to reduce inflammation while at the same time, the blue lights help to kill the acne-causing bacteria. This not only supplements and improves the results of your acne treatments, it will help soothe your skin after received extractions.
